Backlogged update

When I first came to Singapore on October, Zoukout's advertisement was literally everywhere by then. Beach, babes, noisy sounds and arguably the biggest rave in this region and almost every year they have the best line up.

I bought a ticket and didn't regret. Pumbaaa came down with her boy Ivan and his cousin, Jason tagged along. Pumbaaa's friend, Chester bought their ticket and 5 of us went to rave our ass all the way till morning! It was crazy! But my legs sore like fuck after jumping, dancing and walking around that bloody beach for more than 7 hours! Mind you, I'd complain like nobody's business back then if our school assembly drag longer than 1 hour. 7 is more than enough to knock me out the next day.

Ban, Chester, Jason, Ivan

Jasmine aka Pumbaaa were the last-man(or woman?)-standing :)

I'm not a raver but I think it was really fun. Highlight of the night must be the moment Vicarious Bliss play MGMT's KIDS, everyone literally went NUTZ plus the firework at the same time! It was simply amazing. Love it :)

Party hard and work hard.

That's what keeping me alive here.

Fast forward to February. It was ReadySetGlo featuring OFF THE ROCKER Shinichi Osawa and Masatoshi.

This is the BEST party of the year so far. No doubt.

I reached Velvet Underground about 11pm and found myself right infront of the DJ deck. It's the THIRD RSG I've attended and Second time I attended it ALONE after Mystery Jets live in Zouk Mainroom earlier this year. Thats what happen to you when you're lack of friends in a foreign country. :(

But oh well, I really really enjoyed myself for the all three events. Party like mad when Steve Aoki was here, singing along to Mystery Jets tunes and grabbing the deck and jump around while Shinichi and his partner whack some nasty tunes! ROOARRR!

That's me snapped by some commissioned photographer in front of the deck

Then last month, I went back to KL to celebrate by 21st birthday. It wasn't the biggest party in the world but it was very heart warming to see all my friends together after soooo long. Delicious for dinner followed by Zouk mainroom and BarSonic.

College mates :)

My brother from another mother, Yeong Sheng
and two lovely ladies from secondary school time :)
Delicious wasn't overrated in my opinion. It's still a nice place to go for dinner.

The following day was horrible. I had to woke up early because mom want me to get ready for inter-family birthday celebration. I did, and took some pictures.. I looked blur, and...tired..and...drunk... so I've decided not to put up :)

OKAY! Back to present time! It's April already! Time flies :(

This weekend my elder brother is coming down for Oasis Live in Singapore! I'm very very excited! Although I'm not the biggest fan of Oasis but I still love them :)

But before that, there's ReadySetGlo present New Young Pony Club with DJ sets! ohgod.. MUST GO NOW! CAN'T WAIT TO SING: DANCING~ DANCING~ DANCING~ DANCING~ heeeee love it!

When a few questions speak about your trueself. You freak out.

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.
(Straightforward, yes. Making right decision, don't think so. But I think it's quite true)

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.
(Haha, I'm not too sure about that.)

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.
(True. Thats how I feel whenever I meet the right person.)

The seriousness of your love:
You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.
(Yeap)

Your views on education
You may not like to study but you have many practical ideas. You listen to your own instincts and tend to follow your heart, so you will probably end up with an unusual job.
(Very accurate. Never liked secondary school.)

The right job for you:
You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success.
(*Finger crossed*)

How do you view success:
You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.
(I was confident, but not too sure about now)

What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.
(Haha! My dirty little secret.)

Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
(Hey, this is very true as well!)

Anyway, will update about birthday party and my life now soon! Cheers!

I don't want to be the one

Hello cokelightisthebomb,

It's been awhile eh?
Yea, I've been busy with work and it seems like I get really tired everyday after work, both physically and mentally.

I know, I haven't update about Zoukout and my trip back to KL the other day. My bad.

And Christmas is here.

Home might be the only place I'd be at by the end of the night. Listening to Lonely Christmas as usual. Being pathetic and sad as usual.

It hits me every time I listen to the song. Every word of the lyric. It's just so...... about myself.

cokelightisthebomb, I think I couldn't do it..

I don't wanna be the bad person. I don't even know if I could be the bad person.

I'm not gonna take a chance because this chance is not worth taking.

I'd rather ruin my own happiness. My own greed. My own selfishness.

cokelightisthebomb, merry christmas.

Regard,
Ban

There was a song called "God is a Girl"

And I was totally against it.

Last night has proven that God is Steve Aoki

Yeap... Steve Aoki Presented by ReadySetGlo at Zouk last night was a bomb.

Pure head banging, minimum drinks, but super fun :D :D :D

Steve Aoki is God

Excite me

Seriously, there's nothing much in Singapore. I miss chilling out at the Curve.. I miss clubbing at TME owned street.. I miss mamak (really).. I miss my nightlife in KL mannnn.

Its all about shopping here. Shop till you drop. Which I find, very true.

I've just been here for 2 months and I've already done shopping 2 times more than I would in KL.

It's quite hard to resist. 30 bucks, 50 bucks for a nice top. less than 100 bucks you can get a nice shoe. It's just that you need to walk around alot to find cheap stuff. Always eye for those big 40%, 50% or better yet 70% discount! 10 bucks for a tee shirt, 19 bucks for a pant.. Wah lan... How to resist right? right?

Therefore... the 500 bucks saving per month has failed =.="

ARghhhh...

I'll make sure it won't happen again.. starting from next month..

Oh..

by the way..

iPod nano for S$238

ok, maybe I'll start saving 500 per month from next year on :)

................

Zoukout is coming.. To be honest, I've never been to a good rave party. or if you don't mind I discount the one and only rave I went at Sunway Lagoon last year, I've never been to a SINGLE rave. :S

BUT, I'm not sure if I'd be going for zoukout or not since, Amanda couldn't come and a few friends ditched me, they choose to stay in KL. Their reason? Economy tak baik beb... zzz

BUT again, I just got news that Steve Aoki(7th Dec) and Ferry Corsten(27th) will be spinning at Zouk SG! :D ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

STEVE AOKI! LapSap TO THE MAX!

FERRY CORSTEN! GOD!

:D :D :D :D :D

ok, I guess I really need to delay my saving plan to next year

A storm, a big ass wave, a hurricane

All of the sudden, there are so many things happening.

Am I strong enough to cope with it? 3 things that is not within my control will affect my life.

Am I ready to cope with it?

Am I?

Am I?

I'm not that mentally strong after all
